We are an Anglo-American Radio Club, based near Harrogate, North Yorkshire, England, serving the needs of the local amateur radio community. We are a thriving club with many activities, including contesting on HF, VHF & UHF with callsign G1Y and satellite operations (for instance voice and packet contacts with the old MIR space station) and more recently EME (moonbounce) with our club callsign G0FOS. We also run two special events stations with callsigns GB4JUL for American Independence Day and GB2BSA for Jamboree on the Air. We also have a very active US exam testing program run by our dedicated team of volunteer examiners (VEs). We are the only club in the country to offer this facility.
